Autonomic Event Services Management

Find the root cause of application performance issues

Pegasystems Autonomic Event Services empowers system administrators and others to take a preventative and proactive approach to multi-node, multiple distributed SOA-based composite application roll-out and run-time availability. It does this by turning rules-based BPM in on itself and monitoring key service levels and business transactions.  Autonomic Event Services uses this adaptive and frequently autonomic (or self-healing) approach to build a visual dashboard of the health of a SmartBPM solution. Autonomic Event Services gives you insight to correct the real root cause of application or system slowdowns, as well as allowing you to manage the distribution and deployment of your SmartBPM composite applications.

Because it helps to anticipate and detect bottlenecks before they become an issue, Autonomic Event Services also takes performance monitoring to a new level, ensuring ongoing reliability and availability of the array of SmartBPM enterprise applications. Autonomic Event Services also leverages the underlying rules engine to aid resolution of key integration issues and proactive escalation with automatic alerts.

Autonomic Event Services is a monitoring dashboard and a management cockpit in all in one. In addition, the solution is optimized to run in a production environment without adding to overhead. It is designed to be used by system administrators, development, QA, production, and support personnel.

Pegasystems continues to turn the process and rules engine in on the system itself, with sizing, event monitoring, and intelligent optimization of system level services. Computers can and should do more, and V5.1 options such as the Autonomic Event Services help to ensure highly available applications with reduced total cost of ownership.
